Today we’d like to introduce you to Ricardo Leonel Torres Huerta
Hi Ricardo Leonel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My 25 year journey in carpentry began in Newport Beach, California. I was an apprentice at the age of 20 and remained so for the next four years. In that time I saw and grew to appreciate the skills necessary to build beautiful unique cabinets. In order to hone in on those skills, I began installing cabinets and did so for the next four years. At the age of 28 I moved to Arizona as a certified custom cabinet builder, working under various companies for the last 20 years. Three years ago, I decided to focus my dedication and passion of carpentry, and created Leonel’s Custom Cabinet and Woodworking.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
thankfully, it has been a fairly smooth road without difficult obstacles along the way
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
i’m a craftsman custom cabinet maker with a background in both residential and commercial. I specialize in kitchens, closets, bathrooms, media centers, office cabinets, sales offices, display tables and design centers.
I am most proud of delivering and exceeding customers expectations on all projects.
what sets me apart from others is my ability to create unique individual Custom projects.

I’m extremely humbled and proud to have the opportunity of being interviewed and showcase in a magazine. I would like our readers to remember and believe they can follow their dreams never give up and push through and persevere.
